Hey guys welcome back to my site. Today in this post I'm going to reply to most commonly asked questions on my Instagram account as well as on my youtube channel so if you guys asked any questions then you can find all the answers in this post. I'm going to go quickly through Emirates cabin crew job requirements from the official website and then I will clarify everything for you guys.

EMIRATES CABIN CREW JOB REQUIREMENTS

The first thing is you need to be at least 21 years old at the time of joining this is something unquestionable because sometimes I get questions from girls asking if they can apply when they're 18 years old which Is absolutely impossible but you can start applying when you are 20 years old plus 6 or 7 months which means that while you're applying the recruitment process will take around six to seven months roughly and then by the time the recruitment process is done you will be 21 and you'll be joining with that age.

EMIRATES CABIN CREW HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS

The second requirement is you need to have an average of two hundred twelve centimetres while standing on your tip toes that means that let's say you are 158.5 centimetres tall and the minimum height for Emirates is 160 centimetres but you can still apply with that height because the only way how do they check your height is at the assessment day they will ask you to touch the line of 212 centimetres if you're able to touch that line then you're good to go. It's better to practice at home and stretch your hand stretch your legs and see if you can actually do that and then go ahead with the application.

EMIRATES CABIN CREW EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

The next requirement is your education so as it says here you need to have a high school diploma which makes your life so much easier because you don't need to have any specific education and aviation or specific education and customer service as long as you have graduated or Normal School and you have a general education that's going to be enough but obviously if you have something else if you have another degree then it's going to be much better.  As well another must have requirement is to be fluent in English language and you will be tested during the assessment day for English as well but obviously if you have any of the extra languages then that's going to be just beneficial for you and make sure you mention about that as well.

EMIRATES CABIN CREW TATTOO POLICY

The next requirement is no visible tattoos while you're worried cabin crew uniform and also cosmetic and bandage coverings are not allowed so uniform formulas looks like this and as you see here the visible parts like arms legs and the area around your neck must be free of tattoos and if it's something that you can conceal with foundation then you can still apply but you have to declare that. If you don't do that then later on if they find out you will be terminated and it's all on your own risk also the crew dress will ask you if you have any scars on those visible areas as well and you need to understand when they asked about scars it is something huge invisible because sometimes people ask me and they wonder if it is okay to apply if they have this guy or that scar but everybody in their life will have scars and a skin and as long as it's not too big or to catch it to someone's eye you need to relax and you still have to inform the recruiters but I'm sure they'll tell you to conceal or they'll just tell you that it's fine it also tells here that you need to be able to adapt to new people new places in new situations and I'm sure if you guys applying then you're already ready for the challenge but you can actually use this requirement during your interview and while you're telling about yourself to the recruiters you can tell that you're easily adapting and you're ready for the challenge.  

EMIRATES CABIN CREW HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

The last requirement is you need to be physically fit for this demanding role with a healthy body mass index a body mass index is the way they calculate your height your weight and your age and that actually tells them if you're healthy or not so you can actually find the body mass index calculator. I test in a drug test so if they find out that you have a tuberculosis syphilis HIV or hepatitis you will be sent home because these are the conditions they're unacceptable in Emirates Airlines. Also if your drug test comes positive you'll be sent home as well because this is not acceptable but for the eye test as long as you can see well with or without glasses or contact lenses you're going to be fine. So these are the official requirements for Emirates crew and everything else that you asked me I will reply based on my own experience.

EMIRATES CABIN CREW JOB CONTRACT

The first question is actually from my Instagram and they asked me how long is the contract for. In Emirates Airlines I signed contract for three years,  in Qatar was for two years.

The next question is how much is cabin crew salaries so when you guys ask me about it I have to break it down for you because it all varies and depends on your grade on your flying hours and etc for example cabin crew in economy class will get paid around 4000 a month has a basic salary and also every hour that we fly we get 60. We usually fly from 90 to 100 hours and together with the basic salary usually it goes up to ten thousand and also if you don't stay in the company's accommodation. You rent out your own apartment then the company will pay your living out allowance so altogether you can go up to fifteen thousand.

The most popular question at the moment is when emirates will start hiring again and to be honest nobody really knows due to current situation even the company itself is not sure when they will start hiring which is why i can only tell you that it all depends on the outcome as soon as there is a demand for flights they will be in demand for cabin crew as well it is affecting airline industry and travel industry big time which is why we just got to stay home in hope for the faster recovery.

CAN EMIRATES FLIGHT ATTENDANT WEAR HIJAB?

They might hire you with hijab if they like you but obviously when you start flying you'll have to wear the cabin crew uniform.

Next question how can I make my CV to stand out and I don't have work experience as a cabin crew so as I said you guys don't have to have a cabin crew experience or education in aviation.
People apply from different back ground and regarding the CV I can only say that you need to put all the important information in the first page and also attach the best picture that you have.

EMIRATES CABIN CREW MOLES

I have moles which i think is an issue and I think Emirates dress will cover my moles but I think I can't make it up to Emirates well actually I can only say that you need to relax and give your 100% at the interview and as you said if your moles are going to be covered by a uniform then you have nothing to worry the only thing is to worry is about your nervousness so you have to practice more and prepare for the interview hundred percent.
