What happens after emirates golden call for cabin crew job | Emirates golden call timeline | Emirates cabin crew training
Hey guys welcome to this site today in our topic I want to
tell you what happens after emirates golden call.
So if you guys are new here i
am an ex cabin crew from Qatar Airways as well as ex crew from Emirates
Airlines. I worked in Qatar airways for two years and a half in one year and
having Emirates Airlines. when I've got my golden call from Emirates airline i was living in Dubai
and they also send me an email where they would explain all the steps that i have to do which is why i want to tell you that if you get the golden call it
doesn't necessarily guarantee your employment with Emirates airline.
There's another
whole process to do as well the joining process is going to be through career
portal where you'll have an access and you'll have to upload all the documents
that are required or missing and because i was living in Dubai i didn't have to
provide a health check-up or the vaccinations.
I just had to get a police
certificate and a dental checkup so police station experience was easy for me to get but for the dental checkup i had to do some feelings because i was scared
that i would have some problems and anyway it's very easy to get it as long as
you pay and your teeth are healthy. So i had to take all new pictures that will
fit though all the guidelines because they send me an email and ask me to
retake them again. First then when I applied online I uploaded a casual photo
and a black trousers and that I had to change and here's the photo guidelines
it's much better to take pictures as it shows in the guidelines because as you
see I had to do another process again.Once everything was set and they confirmed
my joining date I was in Dubai on my husband visa and I had to change it so me
and my husband we decided to go to Singapore for vacation and come back on a
new Emirates Airlines visa normally. If you're single and coming from a different
country they would automatically assign you an accommodation with a one or two roommates
but because I was married and I had an apartment in Dubai I had an option to
obtain a living out the loans.
The first days obviously the introduction where
you'll get to meet with your managers and say hi to them also they will explain
everything about your training process and they will distribute you the books
that you will require your red t-shirts just like this your wet sponges in etc.
Here I would recommend you to bring with you a black trousers black shoes in a
simple classic wash which is must-have for cabin crew and also for girls you
should bring your stockings your bobby pins your hair spray and everything you
need in general to groom yourself because all this kind of things are going to
be much more expensive than in your country after that you're going to be
separated into batches in these people who end up being in your batch will be your
family the first two months and from the day one you're going to learn about
different cultures different people and have to be mindful and friendly in the
same time which is truly amazing experience to be honest.
So once the training
starts officially you're going to learn so many things you're going to learn
about GMTs CP customer service security and etc and everything that you learn
and study you're going to be tested on every single week and if you fail your
exam or test you're going to have few chances to re take them but if you failed
on more than three or four times you're going to have to go back to a new batch
and start from zero.
What you need to know here is that it's quite serious and
every time you fail it's going to be documented in your profile and later on it
will affect your performance evaluation or your career growth in the company
which is why it's much better to do your homework properly and pass all your
exams.
Since I used to fly for Qatar Airways passing Emirates Airline exams in
theory was quite easy for me but doing scenarios and practices was quite
challenging. Training is a very interesting and interactive they
have the best simulators so it's going to be very intense as well
so you have to prepare yourself to study a lot the knowledge that you get are
very important in your career even after completing your training.
You're going
to be under six months probation where they're going to evaluate your
performance which is why this job always stimulates you to study and know your
stuff you'll have to learn about airplanes, first-aid training equipment, grooming training, security training, customer experience training and etc just
to become a cabin crew.
So two months of intense training and only after passing
all your exams you're going to be legal to fly make sure you prepare yourself
for busy and hectic days ahead because these two months of training's are going
to be tiring it will require a lot of energy concentration and it will
completely change in lifestyle.
My advice to you guys is to prepare yourself for
a challenge and for a positive mindset because this job is going to be different
than a normal job and you need to be discipline and open-minded less on number
one to become a cabin crew is punctuality never ever be late for your training's, for your flights even for your office meetings and everything else you're going
to learn step by step that's all what I have for you guys thank you so much.
Good Luck.
